About us
Welcome to Viracocha Beagles, based in a beautiful village in Hertfordshire, our beagles, Goldbelles Snowy at Viracocha (Chance) and Fallowfield Fizz at Viracocha (Bella) are owned and loved by my Husband Jim and I, Charlotte.
We are fortunate to have such wonderful surroundings, we live with
in seconds of miles of open farmland, allowing our Beagles the best walks, using their natural instincts chasing hare, pheasants, deer, and many bunnies and horses, with no roads in sight.
Growing up in Hertfordshire, I was lucky enough to always be around animals and have pets. I grew up with our pet dog Pepsi, and from the tender age of 6, I spent all my free time at a Stud Farm. By 9 years old I was given a wonderful gift from my parents, a horse. My life spiralled into a magical world of competition, and my fondest memories are of the days when my horse Blaze and I were competing, walking the course, eating hot dogs from the bacteria in a bun van, and working together as a team to be the best you could be.
I'm fortunate to serve on The Beagle Club Committee www.thebeagleclub.org and also the Welwyn/Hatfield Ringcraft Society Committee.
Nothing has changed for me other than I do not have my horse any more. We have Beagles. Chihuahua's and cats. I love the competition, and our dogs fulfil m
y dreams and fulfil our lives.
Our affix Viracocha comes from the interest my partner has of Macchu Picchu, Peru and the Incas, Viracocha is the greatest of the Inca Gods.
Having passed both the Hands on Assessment, Conformation & Movement and Requirements of a Dog Show Judge in October 2009 my future as an exhibitor, Kennel Club Accredited breeder, and judge will be based on integrity, love and happy, healthy, hounds.
I hope you enjoy the website, you will find some photos of the Viracocha Friends in here too.
